Would you like to have a warranty extension and always have the latest software? Profit from the product developments in our new releases. Order the update service directly with your product purchase. You will receive 2 software updates per year and also have group access to our service desk with ticket system. 

 

Software Update Service plus priority Support (F-SUS + R-SUS)

Want a fast response time and quick software fixes? Then the flexible software update with response time option is the right choice for you. We guarantee to fix or eliminate any bugs in our go2signals software within 30 working days. Naturally, you also get all the benefits of the Flexible Software Update Service.

 

One Time Software Update (OTSU)

You have not yet ordered a software update service for your products. But you would like to update to the latest version? The One Time Software Update is the solution for you. It costs 10% of the licence prices to be covered for each release to be updated (we calculate with 2 releases per year). Too complicated? - Don't hesitate to contact us and we will make you an individual offer to update your software licences to the latest version.

What do the service packages cost?

  • One year Software Update Service costs 15% of the licence price to be covered.
  • One year Software Update Service plus Priority Support costs 20% of the licence price to be covered.
  • One Time Software Update is 10% of the licence price to be covered for each release to be updated (we calculate 2 releases per year).

Why are updates generally useful?

The world of signalling is constantly changing. Updates ensure that you keep up with the times. They include new features such as enhanced methods and classifiers, an improved GUI and bug fixes. In addition to new functions, our updates also include optimizations. These optimizations improve the speed, security and stability of the software. Updates also maintain compatibility with patches and updates to the host operating system and the stability of the latest versions of components like Python, SQL and more.

Why should I take out an update contract?

Our update contracts are a combination of update and support contracts. This means you don't have to worry about anything and you always have access to the latest software. You also get support from our service team if you have any problems. Support is included in all update packs, but there are differences between the packs.

If you choose not to take out an update contract, you will not receive any further updates or support. We provide post-warranty support on a time and material basis. You can, of course, continue to actively use your licence.

A later re-entry or update to the latest version is possible with a One Time Software Update. The One Time Software Update costs 10% of the licence price per subsequent release. With 2 releases per year this is 20%. It is therefore worth taking out an update contract at the time of purchase.

We also recommend that you read the licence agreement carefully. In the event of any misunderstanding or discrepancy, the licence agreement will prevail.

How long do the update contracts run?

Software Update Service (F-SUS) and Software Update Service plus Priority Support (F-SUS and R-SUS) run for as long as you wish, the duration can be agreed individually.

How do I renew my service contract?

To extend an existing service contract, contact our sales team. Send us your requirements at sales@procitec.de and we will be happy to provide you with a customized quote.

Why is it good to take out a service contract at the time of purchase?

There are two go2signals software releases per year. In addition to new features, our updates also include optimizations. The optimizations have a positive effect on the speed, security and stability of the software. In addition, updates ensure compatibility with patches and updates of the host operating system and the stability of the latest versions of components such as Python, postgreSQL, etc.

Of course, you can update to the latest version at any time. This is possible with a One Time Software Update. The One Time Software Update costs 10% of the licence price per catch-up release. With 2 releases per year this is 20%. It is therefore worthwhile to take out an update/service contract at the time of purchase. In this way, you will not miss a software release from the start and you will avoid the high costs of updates to older software versions.
